SB22-019 – Access To Suppressed Court Eviction Records

The right to access automatically suppressed court records of eviction proceedings.

Upon permission of a party included in the record, an attorney may access a suppressed court record related to an eviction proceeding for the following purposes:

• Assisting or advising the party in the record; or entering an appearance on their behalf; or

• Analyzing the suitability of the matter for mediation or preparing for a mediation between the parties.
